I saw this ad in the newspapers today. Mobile 2000 is selling the iPad 64GB (3g+WiFi) for KD309 with home delivery!
So far this is the best deal I have seen in Kuwait. My friend called them at 2PM and ordered it. They delivered it at 5pm.

iPad App – My Recipe Book
I don’t cook all the time. This makes me an unorganized person when it comes to finding some old time favorite recipes that I cooked and turned out a success. The problem is some of them are saved in my old laptop. Some in new laptop. Some printed on paper and paper is lost. Some saved at work! It’s a pain trying to find the recipe when I decide to make it.
This is where this app came in super handy. If you are anything like me and your iPad is your inseparable soul mate, you would appreciate My Recipe Book to the fullest.
My Recipe Book is an iPad app that allows you to save and retrieve all your recipes in a smart and easy manner. It comes with some saved recipes but I did not care for them much. I have saved some recipes and planning to save every recipe I know and like. The last recipe I saved is 360Dewan’s Apple Strudels, which I’m planning to make tomorrow. You will find below a review of the app features with pictures.
Recipes can be categorized into so many categories for easy search. You can also do a manual search.
Adding a new recipe is a breeze with separate entry fields for title, source, duration, ingredients, and steps. You can also add the recipe picture.
There are predefined measures for the ingredients, which makes it very easy to add them.
Cooking instructions are to be entered step by step. The "save and add another" button speeds up the entry process.
This is the final look for the completed recipe.
There is also a timer function. It ends with a bell sound.
Grocery list function. Click a button on all the recipes you want to cook to generate a simple shopping list. You can add a check on bought items to keep track in the grocery store.
You can email your recipes. I love this function as all you need to do is add the recipient email. Everything else is automatically generated in a smart simple format.
There are tons of other features like:
- weight conversions.
- Temperature conversions.
- Serving conversions. You can cook half the recipe or doubles.
- Different font sizes.
- A Favorites list for easy retrieval favorite recipes.
- And many more.
The app is simply amazing. Very powerful and worth all the $2.99. I highly recommend it.

Clearing Out Clutter
These days I’m in a super organizing mood. I’m clearing out years of clutter and stuff that I don’t really need or use anymore. A lot of the stuff I want to thraw away are in good condition and can be really used by others. So I decided to have my own garage sale on the blog 
Every now and then I’ll be posting items up for auction. There are books, Original DVDs, and others. I keep discovering new stuff as I dig deeper and deeper!
